Paradise regained

Filed under: General — prerona @ 12:51 pm

” If on earth there’s a paradise of bliss, it is this, it is this”….that’s the phrase that hit me as I landed in Bozeman, Montana the evening of August 20, 2006. Surrounded by blue mountains, and mauve skies, I felt my worries dissolve into nothing. It was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. The days that followed were filled with multiple hikes into the wilds and a short trip to the Yellowstone forest. Some pics to mark this memorable stay.

Bombay Dreams

Filed under: General — prerona @ 11:49 am

Last Saturday I went to see Bombay Dreams at the Fox Theatre here in metro Atlanta. Most of the original cast has been replaced and it was not as great as I had expected it to be. Especially the singing left a lot to be desired. It was really pathetic to hear Rahman’s tunes ruined because of bad singing. The lyrics of the “Chainya Chainya ” number was so badly pronounced, we couln’t help laughing. But it was a good diversion and I’m glad I chose to go there instead of the latest Karen Johar sob story.
